Our New Love

We have started a new tradition. Puzzles on Sunday afternoons!! We have done a few puzzles in the past little while but our new one is this one of Noah's Ark. It was 1500 peices and crazy hard!

But it was beautiful when it was done! We've found our new Sunday afternoon tradition! We owe a lot to Katie!! She did the whole ark. And helped out so much! Thanks! Hopefully she'll come help us do our next one!

AIRPLANE FLYING!!

Well, I probably will never get those stupid videos to upload. I swear I'm semi-computer savvy and yet...no videos. So I guess not. But I thought I'd at least post these picture of our fun boys flying the plane. These are when they actually worked. The videos were the crash landings working up to this. Apparently Marc and John worked on the balance for about an hour. They ended up having to cut a different groove for the tail wing, implant a rock in the nose to counter balance the rest...etc. They were so proud!!

The funniest part of this is that Trina, Katie and I were back at Trina's house trying to climb in the back window since we were locked out of Trina's appartment and John and Marc set up the camera in timer to take the proud picture of their renovated airplane! I don't know if renovated is the right word or just pure genius (according to them).

Happy Easter!

We had such a fun Easter up in Idaho with Trina and John! It started out with a big delicious breakfast at JB's. Next the very traditional multiple hours full of coloring eggs, following a great picnic of turkey sandwiches, chips and rootbeer that tasted like coke. We also had a great time watching Marc and John try to make Marc's new styrofoam plane to fly. Those picture are hilarious and are coming soon. But now we're sticking to Easter. Next we went to the only snow-free hill in Rexburg and tried not to freeze our butts off as we rolled them down the hill! So fun! For those who don't know, it's our family tradition to race our eggs down the hill. We all put one finger on the eggs and let go at the same time and see whose goes the farthest.

This was a little too close for comfort trying to color eggs over each others arms. DON'T KNOCK THE TABLE!!

Marc wanted to everyone to see his FLAMES on Speedy! The flames obviously make the egg go faster down the hill!

Katie came up with us and it was so fun to have her with us!!

John tried to love coloring eggs but basketball was very tempting and it took some of his attention away from the eggs.

Now Sunday... We have the great tradition of the Easter Bunny coming and spreading candy all over the livingroom. This was one of the most fun memories we have. We'd walk in the livingroom on Easter morning and we'd see that the Easter Bunny came and put SO much candy every where. Then we'd all put our Easter Baskets on a couch and Dad would say, "on your mark, get set...GO!" and we'd all go crazy as fast as we could and put the candy in our basket one at a time. We kind of went crazy up there and John and Trina bought so, so much candy! It was crazy. Just look at that room!

Of course, it had to be set out perfectly, in perfect lines.

2. How long have you been married? 1 yrs. 8 months
3. How long did you date? Of actual dating…14 months but that doesn’t count the letters we sent during his mission so...
4. How old is he? 23
5. Who eats more? It depends on what we’re eating. If it’s tomato soup and shells definitely Marc. Marc doesn’t eat much else so…there you go.
6. Who said "i love you" first? I did. It was a total slip but at least he didn’t freak out. We were just talking on the phone and he was making me laugh and I said “oh, I love you.” There was a little bit of an awkward pause but he still married me!
7. Who is taller? Marc by about an inch.
8. Who sings better? I think we both sing well, he’ll say I do but Marc holds his own.
9. Who is smarter? Once again, I think we are about equals but he’ll claim me. He just doesn’t apply himself.
10.Whose temper is worse? My temper is much worse. Marc is very rarely angry with me and he’s always so forgiving.
11. Who does the laundry? I do but sometimes he helps me fold the clothes. He’s nice!
12. Who does the dishes? I do most of the time, but he takes his turn which is great!

16. Who cooks dinner? I do and it’s one of my favorite things to do! I love to cook and learn new recipes. Marc’s a good sport for trying them all out.
17. Who drives when you are together? Always Marc. I hate hate hate driving, unless I have to or if I’m mad and I need to release steam…but I don’t have road rage. I don’t take my anger out on other drivers or cut people off. I’m a good driver I promise!

19. Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? I think it’s about equal for us.
20. Whose parents do you see most? Mine. We used to need their internet so we saw them lots.
