Some Tidbits of what we've been up to for the last 2 months

Update! And Pictures!!

Well, it's been forever since I updated! I now have a 15 month old and a 7 week old and I'm loving life! Sometimes it gets kind of crazy but I finally feel like I'm getting the hang of it! I love my kids. I feel so blessed to be able to stay home and spend all my time watching them grow; kissing them, hugging them, tickling them, rocking them to sleep. These are all precious times that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world.

I am feeling great! Happy to have Liam here and not be pregnant anymore. I had a long labor but a really easy recovery so it was all worth it!

I haven't had internet access for 2 or 3 months now so that explains my sparse posts but I'm back to easy access and hope to make my posts more frequent, that is when I feel like giving up my nap to post.

Here's my buddy boy Liam! I love this little baby. He is a sweeeetheart!!! We are so happy to have him in our family!!

Gretta is always happy! She is such a good girl!! And she is a wonderful big sister. She is always very soft with Liam and always wants to hold him and kiss him and rub his arm. It's is so sweet! I love seeing them together!

LIAM HENRY BALLIF

Born Monday May 10Th 9:10 pm. 6lbs 10 ounces! 18.5 inches long.Mom and baby are both healthy and doing great!

UPDATE!!

So much is going on and I haven't blogged about a thing! I'm sorry. 2 months between posts is pathetic, I know. I wonder if anyone even checks this blog anymore. That's okay if it's just for me. I guess first things first! GRETTA turned 1 last Saturday! It is crazy. I am loving life watching her grow. It is so fun. My camera is crap so I need to get pictures off of my mom's camera of her birthday party last Saturday! It was so fun!!! I couldn't have asked for a better time and the weather was spectacular!! I'll post those soon. But in the mean time, I have some cute pictures of her.

She is so fun! She always does this shocked face now-a-days when I try to take pictures of her! We love her so much!! Gretta is learning so much. Here's a list of a couple new things she's doing:

She walks like a pro

Holds the phone to her ear and says "hi Dad!"

Read books by herself

Gives us kisses!!

Sleeps all night for 12-14 hours!!!

She is our favorite!! I am so grateful I get to spend all day with her and enjoy every second of her life!! We couldn't be happier. We love you, Gretta Bug!!

Here I am 24-26 weeks along. I know that's crazy but I don't know exactly when my due date is because I've been measuring all over and it's been changed a few times. This has been a wonderful and challenging pregnancy. I've been having heart arrythmia's, lots of pressure, sciatic nerve pain so bad I can't walk, I fell down the stairs which was a huge scare (luckily the baby was absolutely fine), really sore ligaments (more than the normal ones) and I still throw up 2-4 mornings a week. There are so many things to be grateful for and I've had so much help and so many concerned people looking after me. I'm grateful that I'm not constantly sick which really allows me to still take care of Gretta. I am so grateful for this baby and so excited to have him here with us!!

Marc is doing really well. He officially got promoted to a WOC (warrant officer candidate). We are so excited!! This is Marc's dream coming true!! This is what we've been working toward for 3 years and we're so happy it's becoming a reality. We're waiting to hear a date on when we're going to flight school. Hopefully this summer!! I'll have more to post once we get more information but we're so excited for this essential and wonderful step in our life!!!

Marc is a wonderful dad. Gretta absolutely adores him. She gets so excited and just screams with joy when he comes through the door at lunchtime and at night. And everytime she hears his car pull in she just stares at the door waiting for him to come in!! He also is an amazing husband. He takes such good care of me and always makes sure I'm comfortable and happy. He's stepped up so much during this pregnancy and he does almost everything around the house. He is incredible! I'm so grateful for him.
