Gretta reached 4 months!!! I can't believe it!! I'll update all her stats on Thursday after her appointment. She's my favorite! (besides Marc, of course)

OVERWHELMED!

I am sorry for the absence of blogging presence. For some reason I can't find the time to organize all I want to blog and so instead I just don't blog. There is a lot happening with Marc, me and especially Gretta but there's so much information and pictures to post that I let the days just fly by without even attempting. I guess, soon, I'll have to abandon my attempt at "catching up" and just start where I am now. I have the same problem with "journaling". I love to write in my journal but I feel like if I have a lapse then I can't write cause then I have to try to document the last year before I start where I'm at. I don't know what the deal is. That is something I have to get over but can't quite start... and we're at the beginning again.


At least Gretta prays for her mom...I know I can do anything now.

Gretta's Giggle

We finally got our cute Gretta's "laugh" on video. It's still not a full on giggle but getting so close!! We just love this girl. Wait til the end...there's a fun surprise!

3 Years...

Marc, thank you for the best 3 years of my life. You are still my best friend and my only love. I love you and I am so grateful to be yours. I am looking forward to a long life and eternity with you!

Happy Late Fathers Day

I know it's late and I'm way past due for an update but I just wanted to say to Marc thanks for being an incredible father. I am amazed at your love for us. Gretta is so lucky to have such a loving, involved daddy. Happy first Fathers day, Dad, We love you!

A Few Milestones for Gretta

Gretta has hit a few big milestones in her 2 month long life. First off, we had our first shots...no fun. I did better than I expected. I only cried as the nurse was leaving. And Gretta did good herself considering. We only had to do 2 rounds of tylenol and she was an angel that night!



Also, she's started to laugh. Only a few times and they're the really forced ones, but laughs nonetheless. I haven't gotten any laughs on camera yet, we're still weary of the camera. I have barely gotten some good smiles on camera. She's so smiley but when I pull out the camera the smiles stop and she just focuses so hard on the camera that she can hardly be distracted.








Gretta has also started rolling over. She rolls over from her stomach to her back any time she is happy on tummy-time. If she's upset on tummy time, it's hardly productive. She's also holding her head up really good and sometimes just sits up on her elbows and looks around. She's doing great. I got a video of her rolling and up on her elbows but it's too big to post, so I'll have to wait til I get a shorter one and post it.





I can't believe how much I love this baby. She is so cute and makes me so happy. I wake up in the morning (after she sleeps for 6-9 hours straight...see why I love her?) and all I want to do is look at her cute face and see her smile at me. She seriously just makes each of my days so special. And I'm not taking one minute for granted! I LOVE being a mommy!!

2 months old!!

Our Gretta Rae is 2 months old already! I can't believe it! She is so special. She just melts my heart. She's smiling a lot and is so alert! I am loving all the time I get to spend with her! She's just my favorite!! Here are some of my favorite pictures of this last month with my cute little peanut.
