My silly kids...

I love my kids so much. They are silly and keep me laughing. I'm grateful for their silliness because it reminds me to slow down and enjoy each moment. They are best friends and I'm so happy they are close. They make my life so full of joy. I'm so grateful to be their Mama.

Gretta's getting so old. She is so helpful. Today she saw my batch of laundry sitting on the couch that I hadn't folded yet, and while I was finishing up the bread I was baking, she came and brought me all the washclothes, perfectly folded and ready to be put away. She's a such a good girl. I still don't know what I did to deserve my kids.

Liam always has rings on his arms. In or out of the bath. Silly guy! He is a sweetheart. He is helpful also. When it's time to get in the car he brings everybody their shoes. He is so great. I'm so lucky!

Silly and always laughing. Reminding me what's important in life.

I am so grateful. I love my family!

Summer Vacation

We went on a summer trip the weekend before Marc started Primary. It was so fun! Gretta just kept saying, "we're on a trip!!" Then later we found out she kind of thought the trip was the hotel room we stayed in because once we checked out, she cried that we were leaving the trip. Such a funny girl! The kids were so great! We couldn't have asked for better behaved kids, especially since naps were usually just cat-naps in the car on the way to the next thing. They slept great both nights, we all had so much fun! Thanks Dad for a fantastic trip and some really awesome family time!!

Georgia Aquarium, SO awesome! The kids had a blast!

Stone Mountain. It was actually really awesome. We rode a train all around the park and Gretta absolutely loved it!

Gretta thought she was too big to be pushed and wanted to do the pushing.

But she stopped to admire the sites too. :)

Atlanta Zoo! We saw all of our favorite animals! The kids were in heaven!

No nap, finally caught up with Liam. Poor guy!

And last stop, Atlanta, Georgia temple!

The kids got distracted by a helicopter they saw flying. They are very in tune to helicopters and don't miss it when one flies by. Often times Gretta will point them out to Marc and I before we see them. They love helicopters!

This is Liam's sign for helicopter! Really any engine he hears he puts his hand up and looks for a helicopter. We love this little guy.

Independence Day

I am proud to be an American. I am so grateful for our founding Father's and their sacrifice to make this a free country under God. I am grateful brave people fight every day to maintain our freedom and I hope we never forget the sacrifice. I love America. I am grateful to live in this free land.

Belated 5 year anniversary

I didn't post on our actual 5 year anniversary because I was too busy spending the day with my best friend, Marc. He had just gotten back from a long hard training that was incredibly difficult and taxing on both of us and we were just so happy to be back together again.

I love Marc so much. He truly is the best man I know. I am so lucky to have married him. He's an incredible Dad, an amazing husband and a good man. So many people I meet here come and tell me that my husband is the nicest guy they know. I am so proud of him. He works so hard to accomplish his goals and he supports and provides for our family, and always has. He has sacrificed and done many hard things to keep me home with our children. He is an example of patience, unconditional love and happiness to me. Our kids adore him. I love him with all my heart. We have had the best 5 years ever. I never could have imagined being this happy in life. Marc makes our life wonderful. He is forgiving and understanding, he does everything in his power to make me happy. Here's to 5 years of complete wedded bliss and here's to eternity. With Marc as my companion, eternity doesn't seem long enough. I love you, Marc.
